Fusion Bonds

Fusion bonding is the most widely used and long-lasting method. The bonding resin that is used is Keratin based, which is a natural protein that won't break the hair shaft. Keratin is gentle to your hair and easily removable. A small section of your natural hair is sectioned and heat is applied to the keratin adhesive and rolled into a bond. The bond is placed approximately 2cm away from the root of your hair, to ensure correct hair growth over the next few months. The bond is very neat and extremely small, so is barely noticable. You can straighten, curl and brush your hair extensions as you would your own hair and also add colour blends to create high/low-lights. This method will give you maximum volume, thickness and free movement. Depending on your natural hair re-growth, your extensions should last up to 5 months, perhaps even longer if well looked after.

Micro Rings

Micro Ring hair extensions are a brilliant strand by strand method. They're attached with small 5mm rings that come in several colours for a close match to the hair colour. The Micro Rings are made of metal, mainly copper or nickel. They are applied with a tool similar to a crochet hook that pulls a strand of your hair through the ring, you then slip the hair extension strand into the ring. The hair extension pliers are used to clamp the ring tight to hold the hair extension in place securely. This is a great method that does not use any heat or glue, it is a great alternative for those afraid of the damage they may cause. The best Micro Rings to use are 4-5mm in diameter and have a silicone lining that prevents slipping, breakage and last much longer than other micro rings. Micro rings need repositioning every 6-8 weeks.

Easy Shrinks

The “Easy Shrink” method involves adhering the extension with the client’s natural hair by using a tube with Keratin inside of it and heating the tube so that the adhesive bonds the natural and hair extension together. It allows for easily removing the extensions as well, because the fused areas just need to be heated again and the tube slides right off causing no damage to the natural hair.

Micro Fusion

Micro fusion bonding involves using an adhesive to bond the client’s natural hair with a hair extension. If a protein based product like Keratin is used, it can be removed from the hair much more easily than silicon based adhesive and there is less of a chance that the client’s natural hair will be damaged. During the course, the stylists will learn how to use micro fusion bonding, which is one of the most widely used hair extension techniques.

Mini Tubes

These offer the same support as a standard micro tube, with the added addition of a silicone lining. Silicone lined mini micro tubes are a smaller version of the standard micro tube, as the inner diameter of the rings is slightly smaller at 2.5mm, and they are shorter in length measuring approx 4mm. Silicone lined mini micro tubes are great for any hair extensionist looking for a super discrete fitting method, and they are available in 8 shades.

Nano Rings

Nano ring hair extensions are a fantastic hair extension method, and one those with finer hair will be able to enjoy too. The process involves placing individual hair extension strands and securing them with a nano ring. The nano ring itself is tiny and less likely to be noticed.

Why Choose Rose Restyles

Professional and Highly Trained

Badly installed hair extensions can damage your natural hair, sometimes making it fall out and causing permanent damage to the follicles as well. Both glued in and sewn in hair extensions can be damaging because they put too much weight on the hair or, if done improperly, the hair is tightened too much causing damage.

Thats why I am trained in the preparation, sectioning, application, cutting, styling, maintenance, removal and aftercare of hair extensions.
